Often found along Maui’s scenic beaches, coastal roads, and mountain vistas, Ellen paints en plein air, capturing the changing light, colors, and atmosphere of the islands. Working in oils and watercolors, she brings the beauty of Maui to life through paintings that invite you to pause, remember, and experience the island all over again.

“I enjoy my creative life as a spiritual and inspiring journey,” Ellen says. “I hope that people experience a sense of place in my work and enjoy what I refer to as a ‘fourth dimension’—the feeling I try to impart in each piece.”
